On 8th August 2024, the students of class 2 of DAV Public School Reserve Bank Enclave Paschim Vihar , gathered for a special assembly that celebrated the vibrant and diverse folk dances of India. The assembly aimed to highlight the rich cultural heritage of our country, which is expressed through its numerous traditional dance forms. Each state in India has its unique dance style, reflecting the local culture, traditions, and history.
The assembly began with an introduction to the importance of folk dances in Indian culture. It was emphasized that these dances are not just a form of entertainment but also a means of storytelling, passing down traditions, and preserving the values of communities across generations.
