CELEBRATION OF NUTRITION WEEK

As part of their EVS lesson on food, the students of Class 2 were introduced to the importance of healthy eating. To reinforce this learning, Nutrition Week was celebrated from 7th July to 11th July 2025 with great enthusiasm. Throughout the week, children actively participated in preparing a variety of healthy, no-flame recipes right in the classroom.
The celebration began on 7th July with Sandwich Making, where children used fresh vegetables, butter, and green chutney to make delicious sandwiches.
On Day 2, they prepared a wholesome and tasty Sprouts Chaat, made with boiled potatoes, chopped onions, and tomatoes.
On 9th July, the little chefs made Fruit Yogurt, mixing colorful fruits of their choice with curd and a touch of honey.
The fourth day featured Biscuit Canopies, crafted using Monaco biscuits topped with butter, chopped veggies, and a sprinkle of bhujiya – a combination the kids thoroughly enjoyed.
The week concluded on 11th July with a delightful dessert – Chocolate Pudding – prepared using crushed chocolate biscuits, chocolate syrup, and decorated beautifully with sprinkles and gems.
Through this engaging activity, the children not only learned about healthy eating habits but also gained confidence and independence in handling simple household tasks.
