On 13th August 2025, the cheerful Class 2 children celebrated Janmashtami with a delightful blend of creativity and tradition through a vibrant Matki drawing and decoration activity, along with flute and peacock feather crafts. The young artists transformed plain matkis into colourful works of art, embellishing them with glitter, sequins, beads and bright paints, radiating the festive spirit.
This engaging activity not only sparked their imagination but also helped them understand the cultural significance of Lord Krishna’s birth in a joyful and interactive manner. The beautifully decorated matkis were a true reflection of the children’s innocence, devotion and boundless enthusiasm.
