To celebrate the beauty and bounty of our planet, a heartwarming Earth Day Special Assembly was held at DAV RBE for students of classes III to V.
The event began with a thought-provoking short play that transported the audience back to Earth in 1950, highlighting its pure and pristine state, and then contrasted it with the current environmental challenges we face today.
Following the play, a melodious group song was performed, filled with gratitude and love — a musical tribute to Mother Earth for all she provides us.
The highlight of the event was the Monologue Competition on the theme “Thank You, Earth”, where young minds passionately expressed their thoughts and emotions, pledging their love and respect for our planet.
The assembly concluded with the announcement of competition results and a powerful pledge by all students to protect and preserve the Earth for future generations.
It was a day full of awareness, creativity, and heartfelt appreciation for the only home we have — our Earth!
Let’s continue to care, share, and be aware!
