To connect classroom learning with real-life awareness, engaging activities were conducted at DAV RBE for students of Classes III to VIII.
Students of Classes III to V participated enthusiastically in the Emergency Kit Activity, where they brought small boxes filled with essential items needed during emergencies. They shared their kits with classmates and learned the importance of being alert, safe, and prepared for any disaster.
For Classes VI to VIII, a thought-provoking Debate Competition was organized on the topic “Are Disasters Natural or Human-Induced?” Students confidently presented their views, supporting their arguments with examples and logical reasoning. The session helped them understand how both natural processes and human actions can contribute to disasters.
Both activities beautifully integrated Social Science learning with real-life application, encouraging students to become responsible and aware citizens.
